I don't do this enough and I have missed writing so here we ago friends, things have been picking up here since my last entry ages ago, I am now on staff full-time with YWAM in Truro, Nova Scotia. working on Pioneering a YWAM Campus in Atlantic Canada. As part of my staff commitment I am required to take the Perspectives course. Which has profoundly changed some of the ways I view some areas of the church. I am also involved with KD Thursday, KD for any of you non Canadians is Kraft Mac n' Cheese known as Kraft Dinner here or better yet KD, anyways... We serve KD to students of the local high school over 3 different lunch hours, we facilitate this program in a church about a block away from the school. our YWAM Team works along side a hand full of local youth pastors and a group of dedicated volunteers with out who we could not pull this off, seeing as we serve 600+ students every week. I personally been getting involved in a youth drop in center here in town, its a great outreach that breaches the four walls of the church. I try and make it out twice a week and would volunteer for a 3-6 hour period, its also helped me reconnect with youth culture which is always good when working with youth :)
thats pretty much my life to this point a little look at what a week looks for me with some office type work jammed in there here and there but I try to stay away from that stuff yuck paper work!

Alright so its been a few weeks and a lot has changed. For example I am no longer living on the YWAM base, we are on outreach now. We are currently staying in a pastors house in Duncraig a suburb about 25 minutes from Perth's city centre and about 3 minutes from the beach, which means that we have a great opportunity to do evangelism on the beach. That has been pretty cool we have been able to speak to many people daily, because it is their holiday. We have also been working with a local church doing the worship, kids lessons and testimonies. This up coming week we are doing a beach mission with the kids of the church, we will be teaching the kids about hearing God's voice and have them practice it. Then take out evangelizing with us and show them how we do what we do. The kids here at the church really know who God is ya know at least that's what I've been told so I guess we will find out. As for me I am really getting the hang of sharing God's love in many ways its great.

What am I doing here?

So I noticed the other day that all my updates have been about finances so I just want to update you on what I am doing here. I have maped out my scehule before for you so you don't need to know my weekly breakdown I'll just highlight a few events.

For example, Pearl Jam came to Perth just a few weeks ago it was a huge event, most YWAMer's where in trees all around the stadium, I on the otherhand was IN THE FRONT ROW it was Amazing I was jumping and singing my heart out and then the unthinkable happened I was pulled up on stage isn't that awesome!.... ok I am lieing ha... pearl jam did come here and most YWAMer's did climb the trees around the stadium to catch a peek but I had made a 4.5hr treck up north With my pal roommate Nathan to his home town Geralton the night before. He was there to do a prep corse for a STAT test (kinda like the S.A.T.'s in the states) so while he was in his corse I was suposed to do my weekly journal, that lasted all of an hour and a half then his mom and younger siblings came around and I ended up spending the day with them checking out historic monuments, going grocery shoping, hanging out at their cousins house peting horses and holding pythons, it was a riot. Nathan is the oldest he has 3 younger siblings two sisters 8years and 4 years and a brother 6. By the time we got back home Nate was waiting around for me, we headed over to his friend Hana's place where I met Nathan(#2),Hanah and Brodie. Hanah Nate brodie and I headed to the beach then we all went for a little off roading climbing sand dunes with nates 4x4 that was great.
when we Got back I being a creature of the night was raring to Go but nate was about ready to keel over so he headed home and I stuck around to watch the movie FireProof (GREAT MOVIE) then crashed at there at Hanah and Nathan's place. Went to church with in Geralton where I was introduced to the whole congration by standing up and saying where I was from(seems to be an ausi thing) church was good simillar to home just smaller.
after church we all headed to the beach to play volley ball, I never had so much fun, if there is one thing I have learned so far it is that the fear of man can realy muck things up so to move in the oppisite spirit is to Kick the Fear of man in the *cough* teeth sorta speak.

anyways there's just one of my adventures so far please feel free to drop me a line and hey I hope this ain't to boreing I just kinda write what comes out of my head so its kinda word diarrea sometimes. so before I say to much more, Have a good one

alright guys big news, so the origanal plan was for everyone who had a return ticket already booked when they got here was to fly to LA then everyone would fly to mexico city for 2 months of out reach then we would all fly back to LA and do our debreif there then those returning to Australia would fly from there and those heading for home would do so. but after a few tedious hours on the phone with travelocity and Emerites Airline I changed my homeward bound ticket to fly to LA on the first of feb saving me heaps... the quote for the round trip was 4,800 and now 2,700 Praise God!!! see how he works in all things and yea praise GodI as well have $700 to my name which is a blessing! so I have another 2,000 for my out reach we are doing some fund raising but I need your prayers and support.again I want to thank you all so much for what you have done so far and for keeping in touch that really means alot to me being so far away from home.
